Is the apartment private?
Yes. The apartment is a completely separate unit on the lower floor of the house with its own private entrance and no internal connection to the upper floors.
Is the jacuzzi private?
Yes. The outdoor jacuzzi is private and included with the apartment stay.
Is the sauna included in the price?
The sauna is available for an additional fee of 100 NOK per person per hour.
What payment methods do you accept?
For direct bookings, we offer secure and flexible payment options. Guests can pay via PayPal, Revolut or bank transfer.

Can we rent the jet ski?
Yes. The jet ski can be rented for 1000 NOK per hour. For safety and insurance reasons, it must be used together with the host or the host’s son, especially if guests do not have a valid speed boat license.
Is fishing equipment available?
Yes. Fishing equipment can be rented for 100 NOK per fishing pole.
Can we rent a paddle board?
Yes. Paddle boards are available for rent for 200 NOK per day.
Is the property located directly by the water?
Yes. The property has direct waterfront access to the fjord, offering beautiful views, peaceful surroundings and unique nature experiences.
Can you see the Northern Lights from the property?
Yes, occasionally. Although Bergen is south of the Arctic Circle, the Northern Lights can sometimes be visible during strong solar activity and clear winter nights, usually between September and March.
How far is the property from Bergen city?
The property is located just outside Bergen, offering a peaceful waterfront retreat while still being close enough to reach the city easily by car.
Are children allowed?
Yes, families are welcome. However, because the property is located directly by the water with rocky terrain, children must always be supervised by adults.
Are there security cameras on the property?
Yes. For safety reasons, security cameras are installed in exterior areas around the property. They monitor entrances and outdoor spaces only. There are no cameras inside the apartment or in any private indoor areas.
Are parties allowed?
No. The property is designed for a peaceful and relaxing stay, therefore parties and loud gatherings are not allowed. Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 08:00.
Can alcohol be used in the sauna or jacuzzi?
No. Alcohol and drugs are strictly prohibited in the sauna and jacuzzi due to safety reasons.
